Cherry plum jam
It would seem that cherry plum and oranges do not occur together in nature, but in jam they perfectly complement each other. The taste is bright, rich, but not intrusive. Great duet!
How to cook Cherry plum jam
Step 1
Cut the cherry plum in half, remove the seeds.
Step 2
Sprinkle the cherry plum with sugar and let it stand for about 1 hour. During this time, the cherry plum will release the juice.
Step 3
Put the cherry plum with sugar on the fire, bring to a boil and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 25 minutes.
Step 4
Wash the orange thoroughly with a brush, cut it into pieces together with the peel and chop in a blender. For 5 min. before the end of cooking, add the orange to the cherry plum.
Step 5
Pour the finished jam into sterile jars and roll up if desired.
